Soil and Land Use Technology, Inc. (SaLUT) is headquartered in Beltsville, Maryland, USA. SaLUT specializes in pavement research and other materials engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, and industrial hygiene services.

SaLUT has been a major contributor to the Federal Highway Administration’s pavement research program since 1994, operating the Mobile Concrete Laboratory, Portland Cement Concrete Laboratories, Geotechnical Laboratory, and numerous asphalt laboratories at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center. Through the Mobile Concrete Laboratory, SaLUT has brought the latest developments to highway engineers in 48 states. SaLUT’s resident engineers inspected and tested the concrete construction of Boston’s Big Dig and they provide construction inspection of highways, airports, and commercial buildings throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
