ACPA, NRMCA, and PCA joined forces at the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials’ 100th annual meeting in Charlotte last week to deliver key messages about the opportunities and benefits of competition in the highway paving marketplace.

The groups developed a “Competition Paves” theme for the shared exhibit space, which was organized under the banner of an industry alliance called the Alliance for Pavement Competition.  The goals of the group’s advocacy and outreach efforts are to communicate the benefits of competition in constructing, preserving, and rehabilitating the nation’s surface transportation infrastructure.

The Competition Paves booth, and its associated website (http://competitionpaves.org/), demonstrate the enhanced cost-savings and improved value to agencies/owners, taxpayers, and the traveling public.   ACPA encourages members to visit the website, and click on the “read more” tab to view the presentation materials and other literature that support this effort.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
