Technology Transfer Terms and Conditions

  • Only ISCP organizational members can serve as a host
  • Registration and sponsorship fees (if applicable) are dependent on event location and format, number of speakers, etc. and will be negotiated with the host on a case-by-case basis
  • Host will organize location, meals, live and/or slide translation services, etc. and advertise locally
  • ISCP will advertise the event through its various communication channels
  • Host or ISCP collects registrations and sponsorship fees as determined in contract negotations
  • Speakers must be ISCP members with the exception of local speaker(s) provided by the host
  • Host will work with the Executive Director to select candidate speaker(s) from a database of ISCP individual member speaker volunteers and subject to availability of the speaker(s)
  • If sponsorships are part of the event, 20% of event presentation time may be dedicated to short sponsor presentations
  • All speaker travel costs are to be reimbursed by the event revenue
  • Speakers will receive a standard honorarium of USD $600/day for their participation in an event
  • ISCP and host will equally share any event profits with profits based on event-related revenue (e.g., registration and sponsorship fees collected) and expenses related to specifically to the execution of the event (e.g., food, beverage, room, projector, travel, speaker honorarium, etc. fees and not inclusive of fees such as professional photography and video recording that provide immediate and long-term benefit to the host but not ISCP)

  • Include introductory material to introduce ISCP and a disclaimer that ISCP does not endorse any specific technology but, rather, serves as a venue for tech transfer
  • Require presentations to be provided to the Executive Director at least 2 weeks before the webinar to confirm the technical nature of the offering
  • Have recordings of live webinars made available on-demand for a period of 2 years
  • Be scheduled to occur live at the convenience of the speaker, regardless of time zone

  • Preferably presented in ISCP’s official language (English); if the presenter cannot present in English, the presentation can be in any other language if a direct translation of the presentation and slides are provided to ISCP, at no cost, within 2 weeks of live event to be made on-demand
  • Webinars will be decided based on member demand; through the ISCP website, members will suggest ideas/presenters and then vote for which webinar topic is of most interest to them individually
  • Cost will be USD $25 for ISCP members and USD $100 for nonmembers for both live and on-demand versions of these technical webinars
  • The speaker honorarium will be 25% of live registration revenue, up to USD $250

  • Can be presented in any language; if desired by the organizational member to maximize global exposure, ISCP will host both native language and direct English translation versions of the presentation and slides in the on-demand format, provided no cost is incurred by ISCP for the translation
  • While the topic may be specific to the organizational member’s business offerings and the speaker may be an employee of the organizational member, organizational members are encouraged to select a technical topic relevant to their operations with a 3rd party presenter of their choosing
  • An exit survey after the webinar will ask participants how the webinar ranks as technical on a scale from 0 (completely promotional) to 5 (completely technical); this score will be included in details of the on-demand version of the webinar to inform future attendees of the technical level of the presentation
  • On-demand webinars are immediately deleted when the sponsoring organizational member drops membership in ISCP
  • Webinarcostsare paid directly by the organizational member (e.g.,sponsoredwebinars are free for both members and non-members) in the form of:
    • USD $250 fixed fee for ISCP to host the live webinar, paid with submission of presentation materials
    • USD $5/participant on the live webinar, invoiced after the event
    • USD $3/participant for a download or stream of the on-demand webinar, invoiced semi-annually through the duration of the 2-year term of hosting of the on-demand version or until the cap is met
    • Maximum participant payment to ISCP for a single webinar will be capped at a value set by the sponsoring organization member, with a minimum cap of $750
