EUPAVE released a new publication titledĀ āAchieving and maintaining the evenness of concrete pavementsā.Ā The 60-page publication was prepared by the Technical & Promotion Committee and Best Practices Working Group of
EUPAVE. It is an updated version of the 1991 PIARC Technical Committee on Concrete Roads Report āAchieving and maintaining the evenness of concrete pavementsā of the World Road Association (PIARC).
This new publication provides technical guidance for the execution of concrete pavements.Ā It contains a review of the:
- Measuring methods for evenness
- Guidance on the parameters that have an influence on concrete pavement evenness
- A presentation of the state-of-the-art of techniques used to restore evenness
Until now, the publication was only available for free for our partners and members and for ā¬50 ($58USD) for the general public.
