ACPA Seeking Full-Time Vice President of Promotion

The American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) is seeking a full-time “Vice President of Promotion” to direct the planning and strategizing of national programs to incre market share of concrete pavement.

This is a new position that has been approved by the ACPA Board of Directors and was created as part of the re-alignment with the Portland Cement Association (PCA) described in ACPA’s 2018 Annual Report (pages 15 & 16).

The VP Promotion will report to the ACPA President & CEO and will direct the planning and strategizing of national programs to improve market share of concrete pavement, working closely with affiliated chapters and state associations, and groups selected to participate in a new promotion plan for paving. The VP of Promotion will work with local organization boards and staff to implement effective local strategies and practices, ensuring national services are being used for maximum benefit. And, the VP of Promotion will assist in the management of contracts executed with consultants engaged to develop and support effective promotion messages and marketing strategies.

• Communication & Committees

The VP of Promotion should be a professional possessing the skills, experience, and other attributes necessary to develop and implement successful programs. There are no MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS of this staff position.

WORK CONDITIONS:
• Location: Rosemont, Illinois (desired)   |   Remote office negotiable
• Significant air and driving travel (+50%)
• Public speaking
• Managing and running committees
