The recorded presentations from the two-day 21st Annual Pennsylvania Concrete Conference in February 20 and 21, 2019 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (PA) are now available for viewing! The Pennsylvania Chapter-American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA-Penn)‘s Annual PA Concrete Conference gave attendees the opportunity to speak with concrete professionals including state and federal officials, higher education, and private industry professionals.

John Becker, ACPA-Penn kicked off the two-day event, which featured presenters from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), the Pennsylvania Turnpike Authority, the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CP Tech Center), the concrete pavement industry, and the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt).

Jim Mack, Chairman-ACPA presented on Asset Management and the role of “mix of fixes”; Jerry Voigt, President and CEO-ACPA, discussed ACPA’s “ConcreteCOMPETES” and “VISION2040” initiatives; Gary Mitchell, Airport Pavement Technology-ACPA presented on airport pavement specifications; and Eric Ferrebee, Technical Services-ACPA presented on PavementDesigner.org.

Larry Scofield, IGGA/ACPA Pavement Preservation Partnership, provided an overview and update on the “SPS-2 Program”. These were just a few of the presentations in the ‘all-star’ line-up for this popular conference.
