Associations to Host 2-Day Promoters’ Forum Aug 28-29 in Illinois, USA

The 3 Associations: American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA), National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA), and Portland Cement Association (PCA), are hosting the 2019 Promoters’ Forum—a 2-day forum aimed at providing industry promoters with best practices, the latest promotion techniques, and new (and existing) resources from national associations representing concrete and cementitious-material solutions.

The PROMOTERS’ FORUM provides regional, state, and other local promoters with a unique networking experience, and a wealth of useful information from the associations. The 3 Association hosts, along with national sponsors—American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI), and National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA)—encourage promoters from member companies and associations to participate in this industry-wide event to network with and draw on resources from the concrete and cement industry.

Roundtable discussion on two very important aspects of pavement promotion today: effectively promoting the full spectrum of cement-based pavement products (from FDR to pavers to conventional concrete) to the same agency or owner, and messaging to instill healthy inter-industry competition in pavement markets.

7-12 minute presentations on what worked on actual promotion projects/situations and what did NOT work. Forum attendees get a chance to share the key factors in successful promotion and the obstacles incurred and overcome
