He received his undergraduate from Princeton University, M.B.A. from The Wharton School-University of Pennsylvania, and M.A. in International Relations with a concentration in China Studies from School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS)-Johns Hopkins. He is married with three children and lives in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Tony began his career at major financial institutions prior to starting his independent analyst/consultancy in 1999, working with partners MillerTabak and CV Brokerage. Tony is known for his knowledge of the intermodal area, where the various modes of freight transport converge, on which he has held several dozen specialized conferences.
