Meet Greg Mulder—a CP Tech Executive Board Member

When the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CPTech Center)‘s Executive Board of Directors considers which initiatives can make the greatest impact, the voices of professionals working in the concrete industry are important to hear—voices like that of Greg Mulder, P.E., Executive Director-Iowa Concrete Pavement Association (ICPA) and Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association (IRMCA). The Board provides outstanding guidance in business operations, including management and finances. The Board’s 17 members include representatives of organizations who provide substantial financial support.

The CP Tech Center Executive Board benefits from Greg’s expertise and “The Concrete State” of Iowa, ICPA/IRMCA industry that employs more than 43,000 Iowans in cement and ready mixed concrete production, concrete paving contracting, and the supply and transportation of related materials. ICPA/IRMCA provide technical information and training as well as prioritize research and outreach. Greg focuses on industry promotion and engineering design to improve concrete performance and longevity.

Greg Mulder holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University. Before becoming the Director of ICPA/IRMCA in 2017, Greg served on the executive management team as as State Construction and Materials Engineer for the Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT), overseeing both state and interstate construction projects, as well as materials testing and approvals.
