“Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR) with Portland Cement”

Full-depth reclamation (FDR) is a pavement rehabilitation technique in which the full pavement section and a predetermined portion of the underlying materials are uniformly pulverized and blended with carefully engineered controlled amounts of water and cement, resulting in a cement-stabilized base course.

The newly constructed base can carry traffic promptly
& is ready for a final surfacing of chip seal or concrete
typically as soon as the same day!

How is it done? THE RECLAIMER—A Multi-Machine used to pulverized existing pavement & mix water & cement During spreading phase, random sampling is taken for cement spread monitoring with field test w/square-yard tarp to monitor depth, moisture content, gradation, & final density to assure base meets all contract requirements.
