online August 17-19 … over 3 Half-Days

… with DAY 3 TWEAKED FOR COVID: With new locally acquired cases increasing daily, the Sydney, Australia’s COVID outbreak continues. For the interest of our ASCP members and compliance with current restrictions, the Day 3 Hybrid option was declared ‘non-essential’ and was withdrawn (In-person ad-on portion and lunch was canceled). Those who purchased the “Day 3 Hybrid Ticket”, will receive refunds of the difference to that of an e-ticket will be offered upon request.
Still held over 3 days and ASCP2021 E-Conference is deemed essential and will proceed as e-ticket only across the three days! The conference was of great value with approximately 16 hours of content., with discounts for ASCP Members, ISCP Members & EUPAVE Members/Partners.

Finalist video spots will be presented at the Conference with the $100 prize offered to the winning submission.

“Local Government Path Paving by the Slip Form Method”
“Grated Drain by the Slipform Method”

• Todd Clarke Presentation:”Forrestfield-Airport Link tunnel track slab – macro-synthetic fibre reinforced concrete mix design and construction innovations”: Todd’s presentation will provide an overview of the design and construction of the Forrestfield-Aiport Link tunnel track slab. Specifically, it discusses the change from the original CRCP design to a macro synthetic fibre reinforced concrete (MSFRC) track slab design, including a look at FEA analysis conducted to assess the likelihood, and control, of shrinkage cracking. It then reviews the thorough pre-construction trials that were undertaken to ensure that the mix could be pumped the required distances. Finally, it covers the construction phase of the project, with particular emphasis and detail on the pumping practices and mix characteristics that enabled Australia’s longest pumping of MSFRC to date (effective horizontal distance of 1,970m).
