Concrete Pavement Takes Center Stage at the 2024 TRB Annual Meeting

Get ready for a deep dive into the world of concrete pavement at the 103rd Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting, set to unfold in Washington, DC, from January 7–11, 2024. This year’s event offers an extensive lineup of sessions and meetings dedicated to advancing concrete pavement design, construction, and rehabilitation.

The agenda kicks off with a specialized workshop on concrete curing, delving into the latest techniques and technologies shaping the future of this critical aspect of pavement construction. The Lectern Session on Improving Concrete Pavement Design promises to be a focal point for discussions on cutting-edge strategies and methodologies. Concrete enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Concrete Pavement Construction and Rehabilitation Committee meeting, where industry professionals will collaborate and share their experiences. The program also features a Lectern Session on Concrete Pavement Assessment and Innovations, providing insights into the latest assessment methodologies and innovative practices.

Committee meetings take center stage with the Design and Rehabilitation of Concrete Pavements Committee meeting and the Advanced Concrete Pavement Modeling Subcommittee, presided over by ISCP member Julie Vandenbossche of the University of Pittsburgh. The Potpourri of Research Related to Concrete Pavement Construction Lectern Session will showcase a diverse range of research topics, and multiple poster sessions will offer in-depth exploration of concrete pavement advancements. All that and many poster sessions with focus on concrete pavement.

In addition, our very own ISCP Annual Board and Open Membership Meeting 2024 will take place during the TRB meeting on January 7, 2024, from 18:00 to 20:00 EST. Read more here: https://www.concretepavements.org/2024/01/03/reminder-iscp-annual-board-and-open-membership-meeting-2024/
