Nominations Open for the Concrete Pavement Awards For Excellence 2025
The Australian Society for Concrete Pavements (ASCP) has announced that nominations are now open for the Concrete Pavement Awards For Excellence 2025. These prestigious awards, which will be presented at the ASCP 8th Conference Gala Dinner, are designed to recognize outstanding achievements in the concrete pavement industry. The awards celebrate excellence in various areas including design, innovation, and leadership, and serve as an opportunity for individuals and teams to showcase their projects and for the industry to honor noteworthy contributions.
The awards are divided into several categories, each named in honor of a prominent figure in the industry. The Arvo Tinni Award and the John Hodgkinson Award both recognize excellence in design or construction projects, with separate categories for urban and rural settings, and also include awards for local government, pavement rehabilitation, industrial/ports/airports, and best design team. For innovation, the David Dash Innovation Award will honor a project that demonstrates innovative use of design, materials, supply chain management, or process. The Geoff Ayton Award will be presented to a young leader, while the Kevin Abrams Award will recognize an individual for their service to the industry.
Submissions for the awards are free, and nominations are open to anyone in the concrete paving industry. The deadline for all nominations is September 30, 2025. The winners will be announced at the ASCP 8th Conference, where their contributions will be celebrated by their peers. Supporting photo attachments are encouraged with all submissions to help showcase the nominated projects.
