The National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CP Tech Center) recently hosted a highly relevant webinar as part of its “Concrete Pavement Technology Tuesday” series, aimed at demystifying pavement design for a broad audience. Titled “Pavement Design for Designers & Non-Designers and Why You Should Care,” the session took place on November 18, 2025. The presentation was jointly led by two prominent experts in the field: ISCP board member Eric Ferrebee and ISCP member Jim Mack. The webinar was designed not only to update experienced pavement engineers on current methodologies but also to provide essential context and foundational knowledge for non-designers, such as project managers, owners, and contractors, underscoring the necessity of understanding design principles for project success.
