Somayeh Nassiri

Somayeh Nassiri, PhD, PEng, is an Assistant Professor at the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at Washington State University (WSU). Her area of research is on the AASHTOWare Pavement ME implementation, curling and warping in concrete pavements, pervious concrete pavements, characterization of early-age behavior of concrete, remote sensing, instrumentation, and non-destructive testing of concrete pavements and bridge decks, and other topics related to concrete material characterization and concrete pavements. Dr. Nassiri is an author and co-author of more than 20 papers and is a member of the ISCP Board of Directors and an active participant on several TRB committees. She teaches courses on pavement design, pavement repair and rehabilitation, and advanced topics in pavement design at WSU.
