DUE NOV 1, 2017: Abstracts: “9th International DUT-Workshop on Research & Innovations for Design of Sustainable & Durable Concrete Pavements”, Germany, June, 2018

Abstracts are DUE NOVEMBER 1, 2017 for the “9th International DUT-Workshop on Research and Innovations for Design of Sustainable and Durable Concrete Pavements” to be held June 17-18, 2018 in Potsdam, Germany (near Berlin). Submission of a paper is a prerequisite for attending the Workshop. According to tradition, this Workshop is complementary to, and will precede, the “13th International Symposium on Concrete Roads” to be held June 19-22, 2018 in Berlin, Germany. A summary of the Workshop papers will be presented at the 13th International Symposium, as well.

The Workshop is of special interest for experts and researchers in the field of design, performance and evaluation of sustainable and durable concrete pavements for roads, airports, bridges, industrial yards and railways. It is organized by Delft University of Technology (DUT) in cooperation with the Federation of the Belgian Cement Industry (FEBELCEM—la Fédération de l’Industrie Cimentière Belge), European Concrete Paving Association (EUPAVE), and the International Society for Concrete Pavements (ISCP).

Workshop attendees are invited to write and present a paper dealing with one of the themes. Especially (short) papers on ongoing research/projects are highly appreciated. The program of the Workshop consists of three main themes, each dealing with several topics:

  1. Materials
  2. Advanced design, performance and evaluation of concrete pavements
  3. Innovative concrete pavement structures
