As a key representative of the OptiPave program, the specialist will bridge the gap between advanced material science and on-site execution, ensuring that FORTA’s cutting-edge reinforcement technologies are implemented with technical precision and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will serve as a critical field collaborator, leading pre-construction meetings and documenting essential milestones from trial placements to final execution. This role is far from a standard desk job; it requires a specialist who thrives in the field, providing hands-on coordination for contractors, agencies, and project teams. By reviewing site details and ensuring compliance with OptiPave specifications, the specialist will play a fundamental role in maintaining the high standards that have defined FORTA’s four decades of industry success.
Prospective applicants should possess a minimum of five years of experience in concrete paving operations, with a strong background in QC/QA, project planning, or Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. While a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred, FORTA prioritizes candidates with a deep functional understanding of concrete materials and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
