Let’s celebrate! US kicks off first ever National Concrete Pavement Week

In recognition of the 70th anniversary of President Eisenhower signing the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956 (National Interstate & Defense Highways Act), several states have joined together to initiate the first ever Concrete Pavement Week, organized by the ACPA!

This dedicated week underscores the critical role of concrete pavement in delivering long-lasting, sustainable and high-performing roadways for communities. It offers the opportunity to inform stakeholders and the public about ongoing investments in infrastructure and the proven benefits provided by concrete roadways.

From the International Society for Concrete Pavements, we look forward to celebrating this week with all of those in the industry! We hope to highlight the impact of concrete pavements, ongoing projects, and innovate solutions being developed by members of our society.
